Iron's week ahead: Tamworth, Boston again, then Wolves kids
Facebook
XBusy week for the Iron. Bring a flask. Tonight (Tuesday 27 October) Scunthorpe United are away at Tamworth in the Enterprise National League.
Kick-off is 7:45pm at The Lamb Ground. Going into it, Tamworth sit 19th and the Iron 22nd. So, a bottom-half scrap on a Tuesday night in the Midlands.
Glamour. Then on Saturday 31 October it's Boston away. Again.
Kick-off 5:30pm at the Jakemans Community Stadium. The Iron won 3-1 there in the FA Cup only a fortnight earlier, so Boston will be delighted to see us. On Tuesday 3 November, Wolves U21 visit the Attis Arena at 7pm.
Then it's the big one: Port Vale away in the FA Cup first round on Saturday 7 November, 3pm. Four games in 12 days. Legs, hearts and wallets, prepare yourselves.
SRN Verdict
Up the Iron.
