Scunthorpe barber outgrows his shop in a year. Rest of us still can't grow a beard

Some local good news for your hair. Snowden Hair, a Scunthorpe barber's, has outgrown its first premises after just one year and opened a brand-new studio. That's faster than most of us outgrow a pair of jeans, and we're trying.
Founder Bailey Snowden has more than a decade in the trade. He launched the business after spotting a gap in the market for premium barbering locally. The new studio has forest green accents, styling chairs with their own vanity mirrors, a luxurious backwash and a relaxed waiting area.
Fancy. The bit we like most: the team is growing, and he plans to keep taking on apprentices from the local community. Local business, local jobs, local fades.
SRN Verdict
That's how a town centre should work. Fair play. Now if only someone could do something about our hairlines.
